Gunnar Dennewill

For more than 25 years I have worked at the intersection of hospital planning, healthcare infrastructure strategy and delivery leadership — supporting public and private stakeholders in shaping hospital programmes as integrated systems.

Core expertise

  • Healthcare infrastructure strategy & hospital planning
  • Business development, partnerships and growth in healthcare infrastructure
  • Delivery governance, procurement readiness and lifecycle value (CapEx/OpEx, ESG)

My work focuses on the decisions that define long-term outcomes: care model and capacity, patient/staff/logistics flows, code compliance, procurement strategy, delivery governance, and lifecycle affordability (CapEx/OpEx). I have led interdisciplinary teams of up to 35 people and supported complex projects across Europe, North America and Africa.

I am Chairman & Managing Director of Pansanté, where we developed a scalable, sustainable modular hospital system concept designed for repeatable delivery and local adaptation. The work has been recognised by UNOPS and received awards from the American Institute of Architects (Honour Award & Award of Excellence).

I’m open to conversations on healthcare infrastructure strategy, business development, partnerships and programme delivery — as well as advisory engagements. Project details and references are available on request under NDA.
